Where is the work:  

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week in Davidson, NC.

 

Job Summary:

The Coupa Optimization Manager will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide adoption and optimization of the Coupa Procure-to-Pay platform while supporting broader digital transformation across indirect procurement processes.


As a subject matter expert in Coupa and related digital tools, this position will lead initiatives to strengthen data models, enhance system integrations, and streamline intake and guided buying experiences. The role will combine deep technical knowledge with business acumen to simplify the way users interact with Coupa and related systems, ensuring that indirect procurement is seamless, scalable, and value-driven.

The Coupa Optimization Manager will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver solutions that unlock efficiency, resilience, and actionable insights, and influence business decisions by our Indirect Procurement Teams and internal customers procuring indirect goods and services.

 

What you will do:

  • Subject matter expert for advanced Coupa application administration, including global system configuration and design.
  • Lead projects focused on digitalization, system simplification, and automation to increase productivity, reduce manual work, and build business resilience.
  • Drive initiatives to integrate Coupa with adjacent systems (ERP, intake tools, APIs) to enable seamless data flow, digital thread analysis, and end-to-end process efficiency.
  • Provide technical direction to team members and is a key contributor. Ability to solve highly technical, complex problems and be called on to consult on Coupa projects.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and utilize Lean tools to optimize current configuration and support opportunities to reduce complexity, compress cycle time, and automate day-to-day business processes
  • Ensuring continuous improvement through process optimization, guided buying opportunities, and Lean principles.
  • Keep customers at the heart of all you do through actively listening to end users’ feedback and enhancement ideas
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions
  • Continuously monitor and apply industry best practices, emerging technologies, and Coupa innovations to maximize system value.
  • Actively engage with the Coupa Community to stay up to date with existing Coupa features, capabilities, and system limitations
  • Be a champion to expand the utilization of Coupa throughout the enterprise and effectively communicate the value of the Coupa Procure-to-Pay platform
  • Continuously strive to include and uplift all team members, stakeholders, and end users.
  • Participate in the identification, implementation, and adoption of emerging technologies in the field of Advanced Analytics
  • Support the streamlining and automation of ad-hoc and standardized analytics and insights

 

What will you bring

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree – business, supply chain, engineering, finance, or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain, business, or similar field preferred
  • Advanced Coupa knowledge with a desire to continuously learn about system features and functionality
  • Previous experience with change management, user adoption strategies, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, design, and implement automation and digital solutions that eliminate manual work and simplify user experience.
  • Proven project management experience, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a global environment.
  • Experience with system integrations (ERP, intake tools, APIs) and data modeling.
  • Lean experience with emphasis on standard work, managing for daily improvement, and solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, remote, and cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and Collaboration skills
  • Previous experience in developing standard processes and tools
  • Intermediate Finance, Economics, and/or Supply Chain Knowledge

Compensation:    

Base Pay Range: $59,000-$103,800. Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
