Trane Technologies is hiring a Team Lead, Digital Projects in Davidson, NC. The Team Lead, Digital Projects will be deeply engaged with Trane Technologies’ digital strategy and be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex digital twin projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of project management best practices, and the ability lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. This position has been designated as hybrid in Davidson, NC.

Where is the work:
Due to the nature of this role, this position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
· Lead the end-to-end project management of digital twin initiatives, from concept to delivery.
· Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with engineering and design teams.
· Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
· Develop, execute on, and evangelize a commercialization strategy for digital twin.
· Lead and manage a project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
· Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and accountability.
· Ensure that tools and technologies under consideration are aligned with the overall digital strategy of Trane Technologies.
· Document results and share with all key stakeholders.
· Incubate new digital technologies in collaboration with our multiple business units in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
· Demonstrate a bias for results.
· Constantly scour the industrial market landscape to identify best practices across verticals for the benefit of the digital SLT.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience with project/program management, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- A master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Act as both a leader and an individual contributor, balancing team management with hands-on work.
- Oversee a small team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to approach and engage potential clients, driving the adoption and commercialization of our Digital Twin technology.
- Leverage your strong leadership skills and customer-facing experience to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Utilize your high-level business acumen to package and sell our Digital Twin solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with the sales team to refine our approach to sales, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
· Ability to do industry research and evaluate digital technologies.
· Ability to present research in a succinct and impactful manner.
· Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong analytical abilities, execution and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
· Effective and strong presentation skills (developing and delivering).
· Process and outcome-centric mindset.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
