Job Summary
Looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer who will be providing test support on the project agreements.
Job Responsibilities:
- To Analyze the Requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Create test plans and test cases from feature descriptions and to test the functionality as per the Test plan and respective test cases.
- To Report & track bugs/Issues in bug/Requirement tracking tool.
- To understand testing issues/problems and take initiatives to resolve.
- To co-ordinate with team members and interact with various stake holders for updates.
- To Analyze the results of the test procedures and test scripts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s in engineering.
- Background of Electronics/Instrumentation/Electricals/Computer science – Preferable.
Key Competencies:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Good understanding of Embedded Systems.
- Work experience on 4+ Embedded Testing projects from initial phases.
- Worked on communication protocols like CAN, MODBUS, Serial port, rs232/485.
- Hands on experience or knowledge in Test Automation Equipment for Embedded Systems - Preferably Python Scripting.
- Good knowledge on Software Test Life Cycle Process and Test Methodologies.
- Good communication skills and able to work well in a team.
- Good Analytical and Logical thinking skills.
- Knowledge about bug life cycle and Test management tools
