Where is the work: 

Candidate required to be located in one of the following states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois or Minnesota.

Hybrid: due to the nature of your role, you have the opportunity for Hybrid flexibility.  The majority of your work will be performed onsite at the office which you most closely live by, and in other regional offices. This is a regional role and travel and presence in our regional offices is critical to your and the teams you’ll interact with success. There is flexibility to work remotely as priorities allow, and will be determined with your manager.

This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.

What you will do:   

Job Summary:

Trane in the Upper Midwest is hiring for a Regional Service Solutions Leader to join our team.  In this role you will be leading a team of service professionals, providing  for all Service activities within a large geographic area.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Function as Regional Leader for the service revenue stream, providing the leadership for all Service activities with internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for the performance of the Service area and is accountable for the strategy and achievement of specific budget objectives.
  • Incumbent must excel at hiring, developing, training, coaching, leading and motivating a diverse workforce for optimal results.
  • Ensure environmental, health and safety compliance within service team. Provide training to all employees to ensure a safe and productive work environment both in the shop and at customer sites. 
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including overnight trips. 

 What you will bring:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in service leadership, preferably in a technical HVAC environment.
  • Solid knowledge of service contracts.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:
    • DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $158,400-209,600 / yr. 

Total compensation for this role will also include a commission/incentive plan.
