This role will effectively administer the Quality Management System in accordance with current procedures and work instructions, and will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Program Management, NPD, and Supply Chain to meet customer expectations.

Where is the work: 

This position has been designated as onsite.

What you will do:

  • Maintain QMS:
    • Implement and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, organization’s policies).
    • Ensure that QMS documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible to all relevant personnel.
    • Develop and update quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
    • Administer the document control, deviation, and CAR process. ETQ system management
  • Document Control:
    • Manage the document control process, ensuring that all QMS documents are properly reviewed, approved, and distributed.
    • Maintain records of quality-related activities, including audit findings, corrective actions, and management reviews.
  • Quality Audits:
    • Plan, schedule, and conduct internal quality audits to ensure compliance with QMS requirements.
    • Coordinate external audits and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
    • Prepare audit reports, identify non-conformities, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to employees on QMS processes, procedures, and best practices.
    • Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
    • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and cross functional team to investigate root causes and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints and internal issues.  Leverage common problem-solving tools (9 Step, 8D, A3)
    • Support operations when quality issues arise to maintain production
    • Maintain KRONOS Pay System by reviewing, editing, and approving employee timecards
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Associate Degree with work related experience
  • 2+ years in manufacturing quality preferred 
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is a plus
  • Skilled in the investigation of root causes and driving the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints and internal issues.
  • Experience using common problem-solving tools, preferably 9 Step, 8D, A3
  • Ability to organize tasks and manage time to complete multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the business and with suppliers, etc.

This is a safety sensitive role.

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: 70,000K - 85,000K
