As a Project Developer, you will work with internal teams and customers to identify and develop refrigeration turnkey design-build solutions for cold room contracting projects, including scope of work development, cost estimating, and working with engineers for equipment selection and design
Where is the work:
What you will do:
- Develop Refrigeration systems and solutions using our equipment and controls and other leading refrigeration equipment and systems, including project scoping, concept development, engineering analysis, and system validation.
- Supports Sales Associates in developing and establishing project installation budgets and preparing the scope summaries while guiding our engineering team on customers’ needs
- Provide key technical support to pursue Trane Technologies Life Sciences business, including participation in strategic job acquisition teams.
- Manage the design, including conceptual site plans and preliminary engineering documents through construction documents.
- Continually validate the effectiveness of the Design-Build Turnkey and identify and develop improvements.
- Responsible for securing customers from Solutions Development through project transition to Fulfillment
- Assist and support all efforts of acquisition and customer satisfaction.
- Some travel is required, and other duties as assigned.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.
- Ability to audit existing refrigeration and control systems and recommend solutions to improve.
- Understanding of construction methods/practices and ability to communicate with and direct subcontractors to obtain critical proposal information. Must have a general knowledge of basic engineering, electricity, mechanical REF systems, and the building construction industry.
- Project Management experience required.
- Ability to develop and write REF system-level sequence of operations and other system-level control requirements a benefit.
- Proficiency in Visio, AutoCAD and/or other design software; knowledge of computerized energy simulation tools a plus
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
- DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Carless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $74,000 to $140,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan
