Trane has an exciting new opportunity for a Product Technical Supervisor based in Perth with an original equipment manufacturer.  Trane Technologies is the exclusive manufacturer and service division for Trane, with direct access to the Trane factory, technical literature, training and spare parts.  The future for Trane is moving forward with new products and superior technical service for our customers.

Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, your role is to provide exceptional support as part of a team of professional service technicians, responsible for carrying out operational, maintenance and repair works on commercial Chillers and HVAC equipment across Perth and the surrounding areas. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • • Serve as technical expert and first local point of contact for Trane chiller product.

    • Provide guidance to customers and internal teams on product features and applications.

    • Collaborate with sales team to identify customers needs and offer tailored product solutions.

    • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations and training sessions for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

    • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments and competitor offerings related to Trane product.

    • Assist in the development of equipment condition reports, technical documentation, and product manuals.

    • Remain up to date on the latest service bulletins and speak up and raise awareness to the rest of the team.

    • Support product development initiatives by gathering feedback and insights from the field and customers.

    • Oversee a team of technical specialists responsible for Trane chiller product Installation, Service and Maintenance.

    • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring adherence to OEM specification, quality and safety standards.

    • Coordinate with the engineering and design teams to resolve complex technical issues related to Trane chiller product.

    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the team technical skills and product knowledge.

To be successful for this role ideally you will have

  • Experience/exposure to commercial HVAC Chillers

  • Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Construction Induction Card (white card)

  • Current ARC Licence

  • Experience in A/C maintenance and Installations of all types

  • Good time management and customer service skills

  • Technical competence

  • Ability and confidence to work alone and in team environment

  • Positive and proactive approach to safety
