Job Summary:
The Trane Technologies Internship Program provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. This internship opportunity will be with our Corporate Marketing Operations team in Davidson, NC and is offered to candidates pursuing degrees in project management, marketing, communications, public relations, operations, and other related fields.

What you will do:
The candidate selected for this role will have the opportunity to:
- Learn how enterprise communications, marketing, and public engagement functions work together and assist the teams to achieve their unique goals by improving operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the marketing operations team to learn marketing workflows, conduct research on best practices, and make recommendations for operational excellence frameworks.
- Conduct a comprehensive inventory of shared resources, categorize resources, and identify gaps and redundances. Analyze operational process, develop an OpEx framework and present recommendation, including a project plan for implementation and governance, for improving shared resources.
- Navigate complex organizational structures, bridge gaps in communication, and learn how an enterprise works across business functions.
- Gain a deeper understanding of behavioral operational excellence ideologies, such as the lean business model.
What you will bring:
We are looking for organized, performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and working efficiently. Our ideal candidate is someone who:
- Is currently enrolled in a BS/BA program in project management, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field at an accredited institution.
- Has and maintains during internship a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
- Thrives on creative problem solving and can organize large amounts of data.
- Has a passion for learning and is eager to learn more about continuous improvement tools and principles.
- Has the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation:
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
