As a Lean OPEX Technician, you will apply Lean methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to drive operational improvements, achieving both financial and customer benefits. You will work within established processes, timelines, and benchmarks to implement best practices across assigned projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the design and implementation of operational excellence programs and processes at the local level.
  • Monitor and control documentation related to value stream improvement processes and initiatives.
  • Develop presentations and visual displays of progress for teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding.
  • Respond to questions and feedback from value stream problem-solving teams and departments.
  • Serve as a point of contact for scheduling, integrating information, and tracking metrics for process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure implementation of best practices aligned with the organization’s operational excellence objectives.

     

     

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Interface with Operational Excellence management and value stream leaders under general supervision.
  • Translate instructions into actionable steps to drive project success.
  • Effectively share important information across functions and organizational levels.

     

     

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Typically 5+ years of work experience, with 2 to 5 years post-degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Technical training in customer relationship management is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean processes and operational excellence methodologies.
