Trane Technologies is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Time and Attendance Lead with in-depth knowledge of the UKG Pro Workforce Management platform (prior UKG Dimensions/Kronos). The successful candidate will work across diverse stakeholders and business teams to ensure the effective implementation and management of our time and attendance system. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge to drive successful outcomes in a complex, multi-site environment.

Where is the work:

This is a Remote position.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead the delivery, configuration, and maintenance of UKG Pro Workforce Management platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments and locations to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans as applicable.
  • Facilitate the review of change requests for system enhancements and guide the established support team in delivering these changes effectively and prioritize impact.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for system-related inquiries and escalated issues, providing expert guidance to the Operations Leader and key operational support teams to drive resolution.
  • Work with operations team on trend analysis for areas of improvement and efficiency delivery
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the workforce management system. Partner with HR on review and action plans.
  • Develop and deliver applicable IT training and documentation for operational support staff and to ensure end-users are proficient in using the system.  Partner with HR on any related knowledge documents.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Manage project timelines/business commitments and dependent resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure our workforce management system remains cutting-edge and effective.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with HR and develop and maintain a product roadmap for the workforce management system, aligning with business goals and ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Build expertise in UKG reporting capabilities and improved usage partnering with HR and business units.
  • Lead or support assigned time and attendance tasks aligned to key mergers and acquisitions.
  • Help design optimized operating model and clarity on roles and responsibilities leveraging lean and agile best practices including daily standups.

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis and projects with a focus on workforce management systems.
  • Proven expertise in UKG Dimensions or UKG Pro Workforce Management platform, specifically in time and attendance modules.
  • Experience working across enterprise platforms and leading core operational support and delivery for global cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflows related to workforce management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Experience working in a multi-site, international organization delivery or program is a plus.

 

Compensation: 

Base Salary: $120,000 - $150,000

Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
