Job Summary:
The Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) IT Leader for the EMEA region is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing all information technology initiatives and day-to-day support related to the integrated supply chain function. The senior leader in this role will be a member of the EMEA ISC and IT leadership teams. They should have a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing IT projects within the supply chain domain. This role requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking capabilities, and the ability to align technology solutions with supply chain objectives. The IT leader will be crucial in optimizing processes, enhancing efficiencies, and implementing innovative IT solutions to support the organization's integrated supply chain and manufacturing environment. This position is eligible for remote work within geography.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the IT strategy for the EMEA supply chain functions including MES roadmap, aligning with business goals and objectives
- Translate strategy into action: Execute relevant projects/initiatives aligned with organizational goals and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee daily IT operations and coordinate activities of local IT leaders at various plant locations.
- Help direct the IT integration of acquisitions in the manufacturing space.
- Provide leadership and support to local IT teams, fostering a collaborative culture.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders, negotiating contracts and service agreements.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes.
- Identify and mitigate technology risks related to integrated supply chain operations, including data security, system downtime, and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and manage the IT budget for the integrated supply chain function, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to financial guidelines and objectives
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing among IT teams across different plant locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of IT leadership experience, focusing on supply chain management.
- Excellent strategic thinking abilities, with a deep understanding of supply chain operations and optimization techniques.
- Proven track record in managing IT operations across multiple EMEA locations.
- Strong project management skills with successful delivery of complex IT projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder relationship building.
- Experience with ERP systems – R12 and SAP preferred, MES applications and supply chain management software.
- Fluency in English required; additional EMEA-relevant languages are a plus.
