Job Summary:
We're looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. Our Technician Co-op opportunity offers candidates working toward their Associate's or 1-year Certificate in HVAC exposure to a variety assignments which could include: performance testing of furnaces and residential systems, validating new components, and replicating field issues.

Where is the work:  

This position has been designated as On-Site.  

What you will bring: 

  • Pursuing an Associate’s degree preferred, 1 year HVAC certificate minimum.
  • Overall 3.0 GPA or above.  High school transcripts may be submitted for first semester degree candidates
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of one example in the last four years such as: school club officer, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects)
  • A candidate who has not completed the technical portion of the degree path must have relevant job experience related to electrical or HVAC work.
  • Basic understanding of refrigeration systems and practical experience installing or troubleshooting systems
  • Basic understanding of electrical components including practical electrical safety
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

What you will do: 

  • Collaborate effectively with technicians and engineers
  • Plan, set up, and execute testing in accordance with approved test plan
  • Collect and interpret test data, assuring validity and appropriate detail
  • Promote established environmental, health, and safety procedures to ensure one’s own safety that of others in the work area
  • Contribute to cleanliness and neatness in the laboratory environment
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work in multiple areas

Base Pay Range: $  

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
