Job Summary

Trane has an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern. In this position, you will work with your assignment leader and internship mentor to accomplish established objectives and goals that support the business and offer learning opportunities. You will have the opportunity to work with our Design, Manufacturing and Quality Engineering teams to develop innovative inspection technologies, including vison and non-contact measurement devices. Trane focuses on solutions that provide our customers with the most energy efficient and reliable HVAC products. 

 

This internship will challenge and develop your technical, business, leadership, and communication skills.  It will also give you insight into an Engineering discipline focused on Manufacturing with Trane Technologies. 

 

Successful Candidate’s Profile:

We are looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus.

  • Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences
  • Rapidly resolve problems to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently, such as, prioritizing tasks based on importance
  • Pursuing a BS in Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0
  • Minimum Work Experience: Junior year status
  • Completed at least one previous internship or work experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects
  • U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
