As an Engineer - Tech Support at Trane, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical assistance and solutions for our Commercial HVAC Digital products. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, supporting field technicians, end customers, across the globe and ensuring optimal performance of our HVAC solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and Product owners to deliver exceptional support and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Where is the work: 

Remote in geography: This position is designated as remote, with the requirement to be in the office once a week.

Work Schedule: Your working hours will be from 2 PM to 11 PM India Time, five days a week.

 What will you do:

In this role you will: 

·       Provide technical support to digital products

·       Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software functionality, connectivity, and performance.

·       Respond to customer inquiries and support requests in a timely and professional manner via voice and non-voice.

·       Work closely with software development and engineering teams to address and resolve application-related issues.

·       Participate in stand up, product owners meeting

·       Assist users with setup, configuration, and optimization of applications.

·       Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of support services.

 

What you will bring: 

·       Hands-on experience in providing technical support of HVAC systems.

·       Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

·       Familiarity with IoT devices and smart building technologies.

·       Skills in remote monitoring, control systems, and integration of connected building solutions.

·       Proficiency in data analytics to analyse system data and identify trends.

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer support and documentation.

·       Strong customer support skills, guiding users through problem-solving processes and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

·       Strong listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns.

·       Ability to evaluate situations logically and make informed decisions

·       Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles
