The DSO Finance Manager role is in the Residential HVAC business unit. The role provides strategic and operational finance leadership and business partnership to the Company Owned channel. This position is responsible for partnering with VP of Sales for Company Owned, the District General Managers, and overall sales organization, to drive and manage Bookings, Revenue, Standard Margin, and overhead expenses. The role reports into the Res HVAC Finance Leader.

Where is the work:  

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.  

 

  

What you will do:    

 

  • Develop and manage complex business modelling scenarios for leadership decisions making; translate insights into action with cross functional teams
  • Develop the DSO channel financial acumen through focused training and strong partnership on business performance
  • Partner with VP of Sales to lead and prepare channel’s Monthly Operating Review and Quarterly Operating Review
  • Maintain reporting and dashboard packages to convey business results, identify risk and opportunities with the sales team and finance leadership
  • Manage the DSO channel close cycle, forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long-Range Plan (LRP)
  • Lead the consolidation of Bookings and Revenue financial planning inclusive of weekly pulse, monthly Risks and Opportunities, Forecast, AOP, and LRP
  • Partner with District General Managers, Commercial and Supply business units, and Real Estate team to develop comprehensive real estate strategies and business cases for news leases and extensions
  • Partner with Operational Excellence to ensure warehouse efficiencies and functional budgets at location level including headcount planning and freight utilization
  • Partner with HR and Finance on compensation planning inclusive of plans design, target setting, and management
  • Drive financial excellence through strong controllership, continuous improvement, and standard work in processes
  • Leverage analytics to drive Finance transformation and greater business insights
  • Partner with Pricing, Sales, Marketing, IT & Various Finance teams on continuous improvement projects to drive visibility and insights on total customer programs and Net Customer Margin

What you will bring:  

 

  • Four-year degree in accounting or finance required; MBA and/or CPA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience within the Finance function of a publicly held global Corporation required
  • Commercial controllership or related experience preferred
  • Excellent communicator with demonstrated influencing skills and the ability to build and leverage internal and external alliances with an elevated level of social and cultural sensitivity
  • Collaborator with a strong ability to build relationships and instill confidence and trust with executive management and stakeholders
  • Experience leading teams in financial cycles, such as actuals, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ability to identify process improvements and drive change, efficiency and standardization of the company’s finance processes
  • Possess excellent organization and time management skills to be able to oversee several assignments at one time and work in matrix organization
  • Experience leading analytics projects to drive transformation and improve business insight
  • Elevated level of proficiency analyzing financial information and converting into actionable insights for business partners

Compensation:    

Base Pay Range: $123,800-164,200  

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
