Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, your role is to provide exceptional support as part of a team of professional service technicians, responsible for carrying out operational, maintenance and repair works on commercial Chillers and HVAC equipment across Townsville and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:- Carry out planned and unplanned service, maintenance and commissioning of all types of Trane and other brand of Chiller Plants, Air Handling Units and Unitary Air Conditioning Systems
- Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork related to work performed
- Participate in the after hours standby duty roster
- Fostering and maintaining professional working relationships amongst technicians and apprentices and continually demonstrate the ability to work within pairs and smaller teams
- Comply with all safety, company and statutory policies and procedures at all times
- Actively participate in all company facilitated training and service meetings as required by the company
- As required by the company, facilitate on-site training for technicians/apprentices as well as supervise work performed by an allocated apprentice.
- Quote and bring new client leads of small service repairs
- 3+ Yrs experience/exposure to commercial HVAC Chillers
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Current restricted Electrical License
- Valid Driver's License
- Construction Induction Card (white card)
- Current ARC Licence
- Experience in A/C maintenance and Installations of all types
- Good time management and customer service skills
- Technical competence
- Ability and confidence to work alone and in team environment
- Positive and proactive approach to safety
