Trane Technologies is hiring a Business Transformation Project Manager to oversee projects for strategic initiatives such as ERP implementations and continuous improvement of business processes.

This role is integral to the Business Transformation team, ensuring the effective use of resources focused on the development, execution, and deployment of business improvement programs and projects, supporting the overall strategic organizational objectives of Trane Technologies.

This is a Remote position with 25-50% travel required. Candidate location within proximity to our Americas region manufacturing locations is preferred.

Where is the work: 

Virtual: 

This is a Remote position. 

 

What you will do:   

•    Lead business process requirements related to Integrated Supply Chain Management including Order Management, Manufacturing/Apriso and Engineering in collaboration with business teams.
•    Project manages and executes activities to deliver business process improvements.
•    Manages intra-project dependencies and their interrelationship and impact upon other programs and projects.
•    Ensures compliance to project management processes and tools.
•    Operates in a team environment for the effective performance of the project in completing assignments.
•    Analyzes and finds alternatives to ineffective or outdated standard processes.
•    Involves relevant stakeholders in identifying the root causes of problems.
•    Recommends alternate, innovative design and solutions and consistently gains agreement about best design and solutions.
•    Owns project management of action item resolution and business requirement decisions.

•    Leads efforts to clean-up/restructure and convert data in legacy systems to enable implementations.
•    Leads the coordination of business end testing, standard work documentation and implementation.

•    Supports go live and post go live stabilization.
•    Travel (25- 50% depending on location and projects).

 

What you will bring: 

•    Bachelor’s degree preferred, relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
•    3 years of experience in project or program management is required.

•    7 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, bills of materials, data required to support manufacturing systems, order management and scheduling systems is required.
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.), Proficiency with ERP systems; Oracle preferred

•    Strong knowledge in product configuration, product change management and implementation into production is required.

•    Experience with Agile and Lean methodology is a plus.

 

KEY COMPETENCIES
•    Process knowledge of the Trane Manufacturing Sites with experience in the areas of order management, engineering and manufacturing.
•    Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams within Trane Technologies.

•    Familiarity with lean principles and techniques.
•    Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence individuals across all levels in the organization.
•    Ability to problem solve by anticipating potential problems, conducting root cause analysis, evaluating robustness of corrective action plan, and overseeing plan implementation. Ability to think creatively.
•    Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple priorities at once.
•    Strong attention to detail, resilient & adaptable.
•    Must be energetic, forward thinking, and creative with high ethical standards.
•    Fosters Trane Technology leadership principles.

 

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $ 110,000-140,000/annually.

 

Total compensation for this role will also include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
