Billing Specialist
Base Compensation Range: $65,000 - $71,000 annually.
***Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, experience, geographic location where the work is performed, etc.
This role has been designated as Hybrid – Flex for your day. While most work must be done on-site, there is flexibility to work remotely when workflow and priorities allow.*The Company reserves the right to modify this designation should business needs require.
Job Summary:
Trane has a new exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Billing Specialist supporting our Service group for our Portland, OR or Seattle, WA region.
Responsibilities:
- Review Billing Backlog daily and processes service invoices.
- Sets-up warranty agreements in system application.
- Coordinates with various team members for accurate and timely recording of project costs, including materials, time sheets, labor hour allocation, daily reports, etc.
- Responsible for general administrative functions to include processing service claims – concessions, Ship Product Defect (SPD), retrofit, labor warranty, purchase orders, and initiating invoicing.
- Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.
- Communicates effectively with other team members.
- Communicates with Account Managers, Field Technicians, Customers and Trane claims as necessary to resolve obstacles or answer inquiries regarding billing.
- High School diploma or GED and at least two (2) years of related billing experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.
