Job Summary: 

Trane Technologies is hiring an Associate Project Manager in Mechanicsburg, PA. The Associate Project Manager is responsible for execution of HVAC and turnkey projects including managing financials, administration, implementation, and customer satisfaction.  They can take the lead on specific assigned tasks on larger projects with oversight.  The Associate Project Manager will manage a portfolio of smaller projects. Other duties as assigned

Where is the work:   

  • Prioritize engaging with customers. When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office  

 

What you will do:    

·       Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with stakeholders.

·       Utilizes properly qualified subcontractors, awards subcontracts, and manages subcontractor execution.

·       Financially manages all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost / revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, backlog reviews, and applied cost.

·       Collaborate with technicians and subcontractors to establish project task, communications for project progress, and review of plans / specifications and submittals. 

·       Leads all aspects of project administration including, awareness of construction contract content and language, validating project scope / cost / schedule, managing project compliance, project documentation, project safety guidelines.
 

 

What you will bring:  

·       Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes associated with the installation of mechanical systems and managing subcontractors preferred.

·       Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management a plus

·       Average financial and business acumen with a background in construction processes

·       Experience utilizing project management tools a plus

·       Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:

o   DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Carless Driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
 

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range:  $49,000 to $85,000

Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan.
