The Water Source Heat Pump (WSHP) Assistant Product Manager will lead the execution of the strategy for the product line with an annual revenue of $120M, and will assist the Portfolio Leader in creating the WSHP strategic development plan. This role will be primarily tactical, managing the implementation across all areas of the strategic plan, and leading some of the ‘small rock’ product initiatives. Additionally the successful candidate will contribute and support the annual A3, AOP and LRP processes. The Product Manager will need to have a basic understanding of product management practices, good business and financial acumen, and people influencing capabilities. The selected candidate will possess strong analytical skills that enables him/her to make timely and data-informed recommendations that help accelerate profitable growth. He/She will contribute to meeting or exceeding Trane Technologies organic revenue growth targets, growing market share, and expanding EBITDA margins while advancing our enterprise ESG efforts.

WSHP’s are manufactured out of Clarksville TN.

Reporting to the Portfolio Leader, this position can be based in the following locations for this hybrid role -

  • Waco, Texas

Where is the work: 

Due to the nature of this role, this position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule, with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

What you will do:   

  • Product Management:
    • Support the PGT in developing a shared vision and a winning culture throughout the team
    • Execute the growth strategy for the WSHP product lines on time and in full
    • Maintain and then enhance current reporting practices to evolve the understanding of the market, competition and Trane performance.
    • Work with finance, SIOP, factory to ensure alignment on metrics and appropriate reporting processes
    • Identify areas of opportunity to grow the WSHP revenue in line with strategic plan
    • Develop close working relationships across key functions including sales, operations, finance, engineering, application support and SIOP

What you will bring: 

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience within marketing or associated function , or within HVAC industry
  • Demonstrated measurable success in prior role(s)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Pro-active mindset with passion to drive to market leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable presenting to cross-functional teams and senior leaders
  • Sound program management, analysis, problem resolution, teamworking, judgment and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to travel 25-35% of the time
  • HVACR industry a plus

Compensation:

Base Salary: $53,500 - $111,00
